Kiwanis Club of Willowbrook-Burr Ridge was chartered April 27, 1976 with 29 members. The Club has fluctuated over the years, but has current membership of 44. Our current fund raisers include Annual Peanut Days, pancake breakfast, golf outing, raffles, and special sales.

We help out in the respective two communities - shelter and handicapped ramp for local park, Little League scoreboard, Special Park equipment for children, special contributions to Kiwanis Twin Lakes Camp for handicapped children, and fulfilling special requests for needy families. The Club has worked closely for over 20 years with the Hinsdale South High School Key Club providing counsel, financial assistance and in making their annual December Food Drive a major success (collecting over 22,000 pounds for distribution for the three local food pantries). In addition, the Club provided $9,000 in scholarships to graduating Key Club seniors.
