My name is Tom Kelly. I’m IDTC’s president and founder.

Years ago I was in charge of helping a local charity raise money for an event that we wanted to host online. I simply could not find a cost-effective way to do this without having to pay a fortune upfront plus a percentage of the money we raised. I knew there had to be a better way for small non-profits to raise money online. I looked and looked, without success. Found lots of gougers, but no real heroes. I decided to solve my own problem and others as well.

That’s how IDonateToCharity.org came to be. IDTC was initiated for single local non-profit but has developed into a global online fundraising platform, allowing hundreds of small organization to raise money online.
The reason IDTC is so successful is that we give you, our customers, complete control of your fundraising efforts. You keep 100% of the money you raise; we stay out of your business. Why should we take a dime of the bounty you raised? Your members donate the money. How could we in good conscience take a percentage just for supplying the online tools you need to make your fundraising efforts easier for you?

Of course, this begs the question: Why do other companies take of a percentage of the money you raise? The answer is simple: because they can. There are simply no other fundraising companies that provide the same software while refusing a percentage of the proceeds. So until someone else (other than IDTC) steps up, it will be business as usual for those companies. We’re here until they change the way they do business (I’m betting that means “long-term”)!

The entire reason IDTC began was to help raise money for small organizations. That’s why we’ll never take advantage of you by charging outrageous fees.
